Guizhou Zhuma Culture Development Co. Ltd. is a New ZealandPacific Academy of Pole Dance was founded in January 2004 by Elena Gibson with a mission to deliver world class tuition at affordable prices to anyone, from beginner to professional, wanting to learn pole dancing.
Elena trained and performed as a classical ballerina and discovered pole dancing as a way to regain her fitness following the car accident that ended her professional ballet career. Pole dancing not only succeeded in returning her to full fitness, but became her passion and gave her a new and exciting way to continue exploring the art of dance; leading her eventually to be crowned Miss Pole Dance World in 2005. As she says:
"Whether you want to get fit, gain confidence, express yourself in a feminine way or just have fun, I am confident pole dancing can help you the way it helped me."
Pacific Academy of Pole Dance lessons focus on teaching the dance element and combine that with the athletic moves by teaching choreographed routines in all courses. Tuition is the best and most up-to-date you can find, delivered by Elena and her small group of highly qualified teachers. Each teacher has passed the invitation-only PAPD teacher accreditation, which assesses them not just for all the usual technical skills, but also for the artistry which they bring to pole dancing. It also takes into account the strength of their desire to teach and whether they have a personality that encourages students to develop whilst enjoying themselves.

Elena 曾今是一名专业的传统芭蕾舞演员，经历了一次不幸的车祸后，结束了自己的芭蕾舞生涯，就在绝望中，Elena发现通过钢管舞的练习和训练能让她快速恢复体能和身体的柔韧性。事实上，钢管舞的训练不止让Elena很快恢复了体能，还让她从此爱上了这一新的艺术表演方式。较终，她在Miss Pole Dance World中获得了极高的荣誉。
